EVENT POLICIES AND FAQ

Basic Info
  • Where is the festival located?
    • The Greek Festival is taking place in the Mural Lot (43 E Congress St) and on Pennington St between Scott Ave and Stone Ave. The festival entrance will be through the south side of the Mural lot off of Congress St and across from The Monica.
  • When is the festival taking place?
    • The 2025 Greek festival is taking place for one night only - Friday, November 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • Do you take cash?
    • No. This is a completely cashless event. All major credit and debit cards will be accepted, as well as mobile payments.
 

Security and Bag Policy
  • Will there be security at this event?
    • Yes, guests will be required to go through a security and bag check prior to entering the festival. 
  • What is the bag policy?
    • The Greek Festival has a clear bag policy, which limits the size and type of bags that may be brought on site. The following are acceptable for entry:
      • Bags that are clear plastic or vinyl and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
      • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
      • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand or 5” x 7” (subject to search)
      • Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection, including but not limited to oxygen tanks, diabetes kits, allergy pens, etc.
    • Prohibited bags include but are not limited to:
      • Purses larger than a clutch
      • Briefcases or computer bags
      • Backpacks or chinch bags
      • Luggage
      • Cooler bags
      • Camera bags
  • Are any items prohibited?
    • No outside food or beverages, seating, or weapons are allowed on the premises. 
  • Can I bring in a stroller?
    • Yes.

Tickets and Admission
  • Where can I get tickets?
    • General Admission and VIP tickets are available for purchase ahead of time via Eventbrite. They can also be purchased on site, subject to availability. 
  • Do children need tickets?
    • Children 6 and under may enter the festival for free so long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. All guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • What is included in a General Admission Ticket?
    • General Admission includes access to authentic Greek food favorites, bars featuring Greek spirits, beer, and wine, live music, vendors, and performances from Greek-American Singer Evangelia and youth dancers.
  • What is included in a VIP ticket?
    • VIP offers all the perks of General Admission plus access to an exclusive bar, two free drinks, complimentary buffet, voucher for saganaki or loukoumades, up close concert seating, wine tastings, VIP-only restrooms, lounge, and other perks to be announced.
  • Do you accept both paper and digital tickets?
    • Yes, once your purchase is made in Eventbrite, tickets will be sent to the email address you entered during your transaction. You may show admissions personnel the QR code in that email, the ticket in your digital wallet, or on the printed ticket.
 

Parking and Transportation
  • Where can I park?
    • There are many paid garages and lots near the festival site, with the closest ones being the Pueblo Parking Garage and Lot, the Scott Avenue Garage, and the Pennington Street Garage. Guests may also want to consider parking along the streetcar route near the University, 4th Avenue, or in the Mercado district and then taking the Sunlink to the Congress and Stone stop just west of the festival entrance.
  • Can I reach the festival via the Sunlink streetcar?
    • Yes. The Congress and Stone streetcar stop is less than one block west of the festival entrance. 
  • Where should I tell my Uber or Lyft to drop me off?
    • The festival is located at 43 E Congress St, and the entrance will be off of Congress St across from The Monica. 
 

Menu
  • Can the festival accommodate my dietary restrictions?
    • While the Greek Festival menu includes vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, and gluten free items, we cannot guarantee that food will be prepared in an environment completely devoid of allergens. We do not recommend that people with allergies rely on our food being allergen-free.
  • What items will the Greek Festival be serving?
    • Our menu includes Gyro, Chicken Souvlaki, Greek Salad, Dolmades, Spanakopita, Saganaki, Baklava, Loukoumades, and more!
 

Weather Policy
  • What happens in the case of rain or another adverse weather event?
    • The festival is rain or shine - all performances and activities will continue unless there is lightning or other major danger
 

Accessibility
  • Is this site accessible?
    • While this site is accessible (including the main entrance), the ground is at times uneven. We urge those with mobility restrictions to exercise caution.
  • Are there accessible restrooms?
    • Yes. Accessible restrooms will be located in the VIP section and are open to anyone who needs them, regardless of ticket type. 
 

Bar and Beverage Policy
  • Will you require IDs to purchase alcohol?
    • Yes, a valid photo ID is required for all guests purchasing or consuming alcohol. Wristbands will be issued after ID check and must be worn in order to purchase or consume alcohol.
  • Can I bring outside water?
    • No. No outside beverages are allowed, including water bottles. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis for medical matters, baby formula, etc. 
 

Entertainment Schedule
  • What is the entertainment schedule?
    • Music begins at 3:00 PM when gates open and continues all night long! Enjoy DJ sets, live folk music, traditional folk dancing, and a very special performance from Greek-American performer, Evangelia, throughout the night. A final schedule will be released closer to the event.
